Brooklyn Bridge backdrop for love

Anna has this bubbly personality that makes you want to laugh along with her every single shot!

Godfrey seems to be in awe at all times, clearly a man in love.

They were visiting New York city and just as many of my couples, looking for one of the city's landmark to be the witness of their love.

They had already married but they never got a chance to do an engagement session and they wanted to make the best out of this trip.

When I booked this session, as I told every couple that wants to do something similar, I asked them if they were early birds or night owls. Reason is, if you want to catch these beautiful (but oh so crowded most of the time) places, you need to be able to wake up early. Very early.

Spring season was in and the mornings tend to be a bit chilly so I told Anna (who prioritize fashion as many of us ladies of course :D) that we'd take breaks so she could warm up a bit in her jacket.

Both were happy to wake up early so we could catch the sunrise with the historic Brooklyn Bridge arch in the back, and we nailed it!

We started 6am and by the time we were done, it was already getting packed with tourists and runners (hey I'm into running as well so I get it lol) so definitely my best advice to everyone visiting the city and wanting to get these unique shots is to do the same. Sunset can be tricky because it will for sure be packed any day of the week so for me, sunrise is the best chance!
